The seven venues (GMAEC, Art Garage, River Burch Gallery, The Pondy, Starr’s Guitars, Feels Like Coming Home, and the 290 Building) that will host the Songwriter Festival Rounds during the daytime on Friday and Saturday are all listening rooms, which means we ask that you please silence your phone and limit conversations during the rounds.  Entering and leaving songwriter rounds will be limited to times between songs.

Question 2

Will I be able to showcase the songs I have written?

Accepted Answer

The songwriters participating in this event are here by invitation, and the songwriter rounds are performed exclusively by them. There will be an Open Mic after party at The Pondy on Saturday night, which will provide opportunities for public performances.

Question 3

What is included with the weekend pass ticket I purchased?

Accepted Answer

• All songwriter rounds on both Friday and Saturday
 • The Headliner Rodney Crowell Concert event Saturday night
 • The Songwriter meet and greet coffee social on Sunday

What parts of the Songwriter Festival are open to the public?

The following events are FREE and open to the public:
 • The Friday night kickoff which includes the following:
    • Outdoor Summer Concert featuring Goldpine
    • David Starr and Erik Stucky in concert at the Snow Capped Cider Tap Room
 • The Saturday night Open Mic after party at The Pondy

There are several workshops on Sunday.  Registration is required and there is a nominal fee.

Can we take photos of the songwriters?

Absolutely! But please adhere to the instructions given by the Venue Hosts.

Question 6

Do all venues have public bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

No.  Starr's Guitars and River Burch Gallery do not have public restrooms.  All other venues have public restrooms.

Question 7

Which venues have adult refreshments during the Songwriter Rounds?

Accepted Answer

The Art Garage is the only venue that will serve alcohol during the daytime Songwriter Festival Rounds. The GMAEC, the Pondy, and Snow Capped Cider Taproom will be serving during Friday night and Saturday night events. Drinks must be consumed on the premises and may not be carried from venue to venue.

Where is the food?

Local restaurants will be open and there will be several food trucks in town during the festival.

What is included with the Rounds Only pass I purchased?

Accepted Answer

Songwriter rounds on Friday and Saturday during the daytime.
